About our Program…
The North Carolina Teaching Fellows program provides scholarships to outstanding high school seniors from North Carolina who agree to teach four years in one of North Carolina’s public schools or government schools, following graduation from college.
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro Teaching Fellows program strives to develop bright students into visionary, risk-taking, quality educational leaders. Nurtured in a community dedicated to teaching, UNCG’s commitment to excellence offers Fellows the opportunity to excel out of a sense of mission, service, and professionalism. Our University offers challenging courses, outstanding faculty, innovative programs, and breadth of campus activities that you expect to find at a distinguished public university with a proud tradition more than a century old. The moderate size of the university allows a sense of community, a belonging hard to obtain on larger campuses.
